This prompt is a great opportunity to consider how form and content can intersect in poetry. How a poem looks on a page is equally as important as how the poem sounds and what the poem is about. Erasure poems are a great opportunity to write about isolation and smaller moments. They also provide interesting opportunities to subvert or expand on the meaning of the piece/article/book you are creating your erasure poem from.
