When writing your piece, consider how lighting and staging can recreate the atmosphere of a solar eclipse. Remember, though, that the action in your scene will likely have to come from something other than the solar eclipse. Perhaps secrets are revealed. One character confesses to another. Someone loses a friend or family member in the crowd. Whatever you choose to drive the plot forward, consider how the eclipse setting can amplify the drama or excitement of the scene.
