For an example, read “Autobiography” by Nazim Hikmet. When writing this poem, consider jobs, hobbies, friends, family, and romantic partners throughout your life. Try and include what you consider to be the moments that were most instrumental in making you who you are today. You could include tragic and/or exhilarating moments, or moments of epiphany. You could even end with your hopes or worries for the future. Don’t worry about creating a complete account of your life, just try to write a poem that lets the reader in on who you are.
