A great example of how to get into an animal’s head and write from their perspective is the “Eat More Chikin” advertising campaign for the fast food restaurant Chick-Fil-A. Check out this article for some history on the evolution of this idea. The advertising company who created this idea, The Richards Group, really understood the heart of this prompt. They looked at a situation from an animal’s perspective, anthropomorphized a few cows, and convinced us to get a chicken sandwich instead of a burger. While we’re not asking you to create an advertising campaign, this example is helpful in getting you to start thinking from the perspective of an animal (if an animal could think like a person, that is!).
