#19 Poetry: Liminality Copy

Write a poem about a liminal space. Liminality is “the quality of ambiguity or disorientation that occurs in the middle stage of a rite of passage.” A liminal space can therefore be interpreted as a confusing point in time where one is between two places, selves, or feelings. You can write about an emotional or physical liminal space, but either way, be sure to include concrete scenic details that lead the reader into the sense of disorientation crucial to liminality.
