#10 Poetry Prompt: Here’s Looking At You, Kid Copy

Write a poem about a ride to or from an airport. Even if you are not the one traveling, the drive to or from the airport may have strong emotions attached: anticipation, fear, despair, longing. Sometimes these drives mean seeing someone you haven’t seen in a long time, saying goodbye to a loved one, or leaving for somewhere exotic. Will it be a form poem or narrative free verse? I came up with the prompt. The rest is up to you. Extra points if you know why we chose this title for the prompt!
