1.39 3rd Person Single Vision

If the author is telling the story from the point of view of just one of the characters, the writer is also using the name of the character, like Gino or Lola. This is called 3rd person single vision because the entire story is told through this person’s observations and thoughts. The narrator is simply to teller of the story, not a character like with 1st person. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is a good example.
